Free Cotton Candy Dessert at This Restaurant in Boston!
Had the most amazing Mexican dinner in Boston with the girls for Galentine’s Day!
After your meal, they bring you complimentary cotton candy with the check! Even if you didn’t order dessert, you’ll still get a sweet treat on the house 😆
If you’re planning to visit Boston, I’d recommend dining outside Lolita Fort Point during the spring or summer, especially if you love a stunning waterfront view of the Seaport. But don't worry, dining inside is equally beautiful, with authentic Mexican decor that adds such a warm, inviting vibe to the experience.
Just make sure to make a reservation. Otherwise, be prepared to wait over an hour to get a table!
We started with complimentary chips and salsa, which came with three different sauces. Plus, we couldn’t resist the hot queso dip made with Oaxaca, jack, cheddar, and green chili cilantro. It was absolutely delicious, and the portion size is so generous, perfect for sharing with friends.
Oh, and did I mention the chips are refillable? Total win!
Now, let’s talk about the corn bread, it’s my cousin and I’s favorite dish on the menu. Seriously, this is a MUST-TRY. It’s made with roasted garlic butter and charred jalapeño, making it irresistibly flavorful. It was hands down the star of the meal!
I also had the crispy rock shrimp, which were packed with flavor and topped with charred pineapple, mayo, and curtido. So fresh and tasty!
For dessert, I indulged in the Bubu Lubu cheesecake, which is a Mexican chocolate treat with strawberry sauce, marshmallow, and chocolate crumb. It’s not too sweet and not overly cheesy, my cousin loved it, especially since she’s not a fan of the typical tangy cheesecake. I personally love a creamy cheesecake, but it was fun to try something a bit different!
All in all, this spot is a must-visit for anyone craving fantastic Mexican food in Boston. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed!
