I’m sure you’ve heard of or even tried Hey Tea, but they recently opened a Hey Tea LAB in Times Square. The first few days were packed, so I waited a couple of weeks for the hype to settle before finally going. The lines were still long, though…about a 20 minute wait. My friend and I ordered the Gongfu 3 and Matcha 3, both with 30% sugar, which was just right. • Gongfu 3: 8.2/10 – A rich milk tea with pistachio foam, roasted marshmallow foam, and pistachio bits. • Matcha 3: 9/10 – Matcha with pistachio cold foam. The pistachio flavor overpowers the matcha, but it’s still delicious. Total was a little over $21😣 As a broke student… HMM IS IT REALLY WORTH THE TRIP? I’ve heard the Gongfu 0 is really good though. It’s a milk tea shaved ice. Everyone on the line was raving about it. Definitely on my list to try!
