If you’re in the south Florida area, I highly recommend St David’s annual Fall Carnival in Davie (Broward County). It’s held at a Catholic Church and school. They have a variety of food vendors (not just desserts), moving rides, and attractions. Call me basic, but my favorite ride was probably the Ferris wheel. Food and drinks are purchased separately from the ride tickets. There’s an expansive covered area with plenty of seating for people to eat.
