🫧 I finally got to try Olfactory thanks to @S’more City using my gift card from the S’market! 💵 It was $85 plus tax and tip for one bottle of spray perfume, which is a little pricey, but about what you’d pay for a nice bottle anyway and you get to customize it yourself! ⏳ The whole experience was about an hour for @Kaitlyn and I. The woman who was helping us said that one of her clients took over and hour and a half just to do the final step which is choosing your final scent combination. 🌸 First you get to pick a base scent from about ten options that range from sweet to musky to floral. There were a few other people in the shop doing this step at the same time but it wasn’t too crowded and was kind of fun to hear what other people were making. ❤️ Then we were sat at a counter and talked to one of the employees about types of scents we liked and she picked out several additional scents to add to our base. 👃🏻 We only got to test about eight combinations but there were over 24 secondary scents to choose from so I kind of wish we had been able to try a few more. However, narrowing it down was SO hard, so maybe it was better to have less options! 💯 We each chose our top three favorites and tested them directly on our skin, and went outside so we weren’t overwhelmed by the scents in the store. I really liked all three so it took a while to pick just one. 🛍️ Eventually we chose and they make up your bottle with your perfume, a label with whichever name you chose and really cute packaging to take home your creation. 👯‍♀️ This seemed like a spot that a lot of people visiting the city went to but definitely wasn’t super touristy and they have two other locations that would also be fun to try! This would be such a cute activity for a friend day, solo date, or group outing!
