Today, we checked out an escape room in the Chicago suburb of Evanston. We booked the "Malfunction" room for 9 people, with a time limit of 1 hour. We managed to escape with just 7 minutes and 7 seconds remaining, but no spoilers! The objective was to solve puzzles within a room to find the passwords for 9 power cores. Reportedly a moderate difficulty level, it wasn't too challenging but still required some problem-solving skills. You're allowed three hints throughout, which was more than enough—no extra help needed. If you find 7 or more power cores, you get to take a photo that goes up on their "Wall of Champions." It's a fantastic activity for friends to get together and have fun, or even for team-building events. Highly recommended, and we'll definitely try out their other rooms next time! By the way, Google Maps might direct you to the back entrance, so just go around to the front.
