What a fantastic way to connect with new people! A friend of mine told me about this app called Timeleft, and I decided to give it a shot. I kind of scheduled last minute for today (Wednesday), and just a heads up, they only have dinners on Wednesdays at 7pm. 📍So, I created an account on the app, answered a few questions, and paid around $16. They also have options to pay 1 month, 3 or 6 months. Since it was my first time, I thought I'd just pay one ticket to see how it goes! 🗺️You will get to choose the location for the restaurant, the options are Lower Manhattan, Midtown, Astoria/LIC, Downtown BK, and Greenpoint/Williamsburg. I picked Midtown, and we ended up at a pub in Times Square, which wasn’t really the best option. 💸You can also decide how much you want to spend on dinner: $, $$, or $$$. The dinner itself was a blast! I met two guys and three girls, making a group of six. Everyone was really nice, and we had some great conversations. After dinner, they sent us the location of a bar where we could mingle with other groups from different restaurants. I had a fun night and I’ll definitely schedule another dinner with strangers!
