My friends and I checked out the new wing of the American Museum of Natural History where you are able to see butterflies up close and maybe even have one land on you for photos! I would def recommend doing this experience. It was truly one of a kind. One things for sure no matter what the weather is— it is SO hot and humid in the actual room so keep that in mind if you are wearing layers and such. My friends and I had so much fun checking out all the cool butterflies (I may have flinched quite a bit.) The workers allow you to keep your hand out flat in case a butterfly would like to land on you but you are not allowed to just grab them/ pick them up as it may hurt the butterfly.
