I want everyone to know that this experience is absolutely 100% free. However, I want to be clear on the fact that because this is a free consultation, they do nothing more than scan your head and recommend products from their line of products. Understandably that is their job and I expected nothing more or less. The part that did confuse me was the styling consultation, it is my fault for assuming they would go and do something to your hair for free lol. It’s also JUST a consultation. They just ask what you usually do to your hair and point products they recommend to you from their line. (I have eczema/psoriasis prone skin and she basically scanned my scalp and showed me how dry it is lol, nothing I didn’t already know of course.) I can’t speak for the complimentary facials, but I did book a free appointment for my boyfriend on 6/1 and will post that experience here as well. Besides that, the lady who assisted me was still lovely, and probably also knows that it’s not worth the money to spend anything at their store. I did end up buying travel sized products from what she recommended me, their hair scalp exfoliating scrub and shampoo, which came out to $15/each for .85oz and 1.7 oz products 🥲. She didn’t force me to buy anything though, I’m just one of those people who feel bad for not getting anything 😭. All in all, I would say I didn’t have a good experience even though it was free. The area is great though if you go to the Aveda at the Columbus Shops, you can have a nice date in the area.
