O-M-G! Still in disbelief on how amazing this escape room was 😱. My friend won a giveaway for this limited time only escape room where we had to escape Chester’s Cabin nestled away in Cheddar Canyon aka City Point in Brooklyn, NY to enjoy your favorite snack, Cheetos! The twist was to escape using “The Other Hand” because when you eat Cheetos, your dominant hand is always covered in “cheetle” dust 😂. So they gave us a glove (2nd picture) to put on our dominant hand and we had to escape with the other. This escape room was only 30 minutes so we were a bit nervous because they’re usually an hour but that didn’t stop us from trying! The Escape Game team focused on all the details with this room, it was decked out with all things Cheetos and it took place in a cabin where we had to find keys to get inside. My friend was given a phone where she had to call a number we found in order to move on! I mean, what escape room do you do that at?! In the second room, it was made up of Gen-Z’s greatest fears… Wi-Fi repair, reading Terms and Conditions, untangling headphones all with your non-dominant hand. We even received a FaceTime call from Chester’s “mom.” When we found the key for the last room, guess what opened? THE FIREPLACE. We had to crawl in and there was a SLIDE 😱 (5th picture). Come on, a slide in an escape room?! Literally in awe. One by one all 6 of us slid down the slide and now we were in the final room. At this point, my friends did all the work I was still in disbelief we slid down a slide 😂. 29 minutes later and we escaped!! And guess who came in? Chester! And he came in with a tray of Cheetos, haha. The way this escape room was put together only validates that they’re the best company in the area. I’ve played 4 games with The Escape Game and all were amazing. We need more themed rooms like this for sure I wish this was around longer so more people can experience it!
