Brooklyn’s Bone Museum 💀
“Changing the conversation around bones - from taboo to teaching” — Jon P. Ferry, founder
📍255 McKibbin Street, Brooklyn from Wednesday to Sunday, 11am - 7pm. $20 admission for an adult.
While this experience is understandably not everybody’s cup of tea, I know it is right up the alley for those fascinated with human anatomy.
The Bone Museum does a great job educating its guests on the history of the medical bone trade. I read about different pathologies that can affect our bones and skulls. For example, seeing what blunt force trauma looks like on a skull. Or, what a skull with gigantism looks like.
No bones about it, it was an awesome and unique experience. 🤘
