Gettung good chai (tea) has been something i've been after and I did find a few good places. Recently visited the Bilquis Cafe and I got the Adeni Chai along with their Spinach and Feta Bistro. The chai hit close to home. All the spices like cinnamon, cardamom and ginger made it taste very close to the authentic thing and one of the best I've had in the city. The quantity was 12oz. It didnt seem like a lot to me when I was putting the order in but it certainly was. I was content. Coming to the flaky savoury pastry, it was decent. The taste was amazing but for some reason it felt stale. Maybe because it mustve been made in the morning itself and I went in at around late evening. I would like to give them the benefit of the doubt because of the amazing tea. I would surely recommend this place to anyone who is a fan of chai.
