Big Reuse Gowanus is a nonprofit reuse center in Brooklyn that helped divert building materials, furniture, and household goods from landfills by collecting and reselling them to the public. They support sustainability by promoting reuse and offering affordable, salvaged items. Big reuse continues their mission by focusing on zero waste, composting, and environmental education. They have so many great finds. What I really like about this organization, one of their main goals is to have these items find a happy home! Some of their items have been props in movies. Overall it’s a really great experience and you get to understand how much this organization helps our environment!
