So lucky to have gotten to do this Tried & True experience at Chicago Color Lab! It’s located in Chinatown in this adorable little outdoor mall area, surrounded by cute shops and yummy restaurants. The whole thing was such a fun experience! We started by picking what we wanted to paint—there are so many options like the classic bear, balloon dog, Hello Kitty, and more! The class we signed up for came with the small bear, so that’s what we went with. Then we chose our three paint colors—I picked pastel pink, purple, and blue for a cute spring vibe! You start by flipping the bear over and painting all the little hard-to-reach spots, then flip it back and go wild! You pour the paint all over and really get to be creative with it. It was seriously so fun, and the instructors are super helpful and walk you through every step. You do have to wait 24 hours to pick up your masterpiece, so I haven’t seen the final version yet—but I’m SO excited to! Definitely recommend checking this out!
