Guys, I’m giving you the inside scoop. I’m planning on writing an article about this show but I had to come to you guys first. 3AM Theatre in Astoria is an independent theatre space that holds frequent circus performances. My favorite of their series so far is W-3AM, which is a circus variety show set up like a late night radio show. Book, the talk show host, chats with the crowd candidly, sharing his short stories in parts. There’s singing, interpretative dance—and of course, juggling, aerial, straps, and a variety of other circus performances. The night ends with an after party, where the performers mingle with the audience. It’s unlike any performance I’ve ever been to! The tickets are $30, there are drinks and (delicious) homemade cookies available for purchase.
