The foliage season is here! The video is from earlier this month so foliage is def better now! You can take a metro north train to Manitou and walk to the trailhead, then do out-and-back hike. Or, if you’d like to do a bit longer hike like me, you can walk to the trail head, hit Anthony’s Nose viewpoint, then continue on the Camp Smith Trail. Then you’d walk on road after and get to Peekskill metro north station. It was 8.5 miles and 4 hours in total this way. The only hard part is the first 0.5 mile of the trail which involve some steepness. But it’s short so should be doable for most people. upstateny anthonysnose campsmith upstatehiking
