The Met offers an ideal excursion for any day. As a New Yorker, you can choose your payment, turning this into a date night for a few pennies. The Met is an excellent spot to visit because you can go 10 times and still see something new each time. Maps will serve as a reliable guide for sure, no matter how many times you’ve been there. The gift shop, though slightly expensive like everything else, has some valuable discoveries. The food court however is also expensive but not worth it. Pack your own lunch or stop by a deli nearby. Central park is also right next to the MET which makes it perfect for a picnic/museum date or hang with friends.
