On Valentine’s day, I took myself out to go to the Whitney and then afterwards I planned to visit an alcoholic ice cream shop that I had walked past before. This was the BEST decision I could’ve made because the ice cream was to DIE FOR. I first ordered the Lava Cake Martini ice cream which featured Hendricks Gin and it was absolutely phenomenal. Shout out to the bartender for letting me know that this was his favorite ice cream they had because it was so good it changed my life. The gin wasn’t overpowering but it was still present in the flavor. I loved it. The second ice cream I ordered was Angel Kiss featuring Belvedere Vodka and the cherry base was absolutely delicious, however I honestly would’ve preferred it without pecans as I don’t like them very much. But I love cherry ice cream so much that it was still very enjoyable! Both ice creams were a 4.9% ABV so not too crazy but it might get you a little buzzed based on your tolerance. I felt it a bit but not too much which was very nice. It was a little small inside at the location on Little 12th St. but it had super great ambiance and the bartender was super kind. I’m very excited to go back soon!
