The Art Institute of Chicago is located steps away from Cloud Gate (AKA “The Bean”). Take a walk around Millennium Park before heading into the museum. The museum has many famous artists from Van Gogh to Monet to Renoir and many more to discover. I walked around with friends for about 3 hours and there was still more to see. There is a cafe if you get hungry and a shop for souvenirs or unique artistic gifts. Free days for Illinois residents: Monday, Thursday, and Friday from Jan. 6 – March 14, 2025
