I got two lovely croissants and a warm coffee from Resto Cafe in Fort Lauderdale. It isn’t in downtown Fort Lauderdale - it’s in the Oakland Park / Pompano Beach area, but the address still says Fort Lauderdale. It’s good for breakfast and lunch. It’s open on weekdays only. They offer sandwiches and nice lunch options. If you have a small lunchtime appetite like I do, then you might fancy the empanadas. There are several kinds. I got one chicken and one beef. I enjoyed them about the same. I would recommend this cafe to locals, but maybe not to tourists. If I go again and eat something incredible that changes my mind, I’ll update this post and let you know. 😊 Since Resto Cafe has a Google rating of 4.9/5 and 181 reviews, I might be undervaluing it.
