🐶🏝️The Prospect Park Dog Beach is the best place to be in the summer - whether you have a dog or not! ⚾️🌳In the park, near the baseball fields, just slightly south of the Picnic House, is a beach just for dogs! There is a fenced off area where dogs are allowed to be off leash and play in the water. 🕘🚓 I’ve taken my dog there all times of day but have heard sometimes the park security will come by during the day and give warnings if your dog is off leash. To be safe, it’s best to go 6-9am or after 9pm. 🌊🦮🐢 Sometimes there are turtles and fish in the water which my dog is always very interested in! The pond is only a couple feet deep so you can wade in if needed to help your dog.
