My bf was craving a chopped cheese so I hopped in the car with him and we drove over to Brooklyn. If you don’t know where “the Ocky way” phrase came from, it stemmed from a Brooklyn deli owner named Rahim Mohamed aka General Ock who turned his bodega into a spot even tourists know about. He adds a special touch to his chopped cheese and you can put whatever you want on it. I’ve seen Glorilla, Eli Manning, Big Sean and so many more on his Tik Tok page so it was cool to visit in person. And of course they say “sure, sure” just like in the videos 😂. My bf ordered a chopped cheese on a beef patty and I was so jealous *cries in pescatarian* it looked soooo good. It was stuffed with mozzarella sticks, halal bacon, spinach and tomatoes. I ordered a falafel sandwich which was the only vegetarian thing they had (understandable) and they chopped up the falafel along with other ingredients it was really good. The star of the show though was the chopped cheese 🤩. Just by how stacked it looked to me and how good it was according to my bf. It was $18 if you want to try one out for yourself!
