Last week the NY Philharmonic played five free shows at parks in each borough around the city. I went to the one in prospect park and it was so much fun! A few friends and I brought some blankets, a bottle of wine, and snacks and had a beautiful night listening to classical music. 🎼🎻🎇The show was over two hours long and ended with fireworks which was such a great deal since it was all free! 🍿🎥🎶 This particular series is over but there are free performances and events in NYC parks all summer long. Prospect Park has the BRIC festival and movies on the lawn. These are such great budget friendly, outdoor activities to enjoy solo or with friends!
