I had to go to Denver for work and turned it into a fun weekend trip! It would be such a great solo trip, girls weekend, or visit with a friend or partner. Here were the highlights! 🛏️🌳🛎️ Populus Hotel - is a brand new hotel designed to look like aspen trees and featuring a ton of sustainability initiatives! The public spaces and rooms are beautiful 😍 and the restaurants and rooftop bar are amazing! 🌄🎶🌌 Red Rocks Amphitheater - is a bucket list worthy concert venue in the mountains just outside Denver and worth the 20 min/ $20 uber to get to. You have to hike a bit from the parking lot but the views are incredible form the top and the experience 🚉🍸✨ Union Station is the train station in downtown Denver but it has an oyster bar, coffee shop, bookstore and more, making it a great spot to visit even if you aren’t catching the train! It’s so pretty inside and a great place to grab a drink! 🍦Little Man Ice Cream - this ice cream shop is a little out of town but it’s so worth the trip! They have so many unique flavors, I got goat cheese blackberry honey and it was delicious! There’s also a great restaurant right next door called Linger. 🖼️🏛️🌿 Clyfford Still Museum - there are lots of museums in Denver but this one is great! It’s all art by an abstract expressionist and the building is beautiful and has outdoor courtyards to sit and enjoy the art outdoors! It was $18 and took a little over an hour to go through.
