3 CHEAP things to do in Philly!!!🦅
Hi everyone, here's my list of 3 cheap things to do in Philly!
🌸Shofuso Japanese Cultural Center - Shofuso is a peaceful place for connecting with nature and getting to experience Japanese culture in the heart of Philly. Go while it's warm and see some cherry blossoms, koi fish and maybe even turtles. The landscape is amazing and there's even a little house you can walk through. When walking through the house you have to take your shoes off and they offer you disposable socks. The cost is $14 per person, $9 for students, seniors and teachers, and free for military and veterans. Parking is free. Make sure to take lots of pictures because the sites are unreal!
Opening day for the 2025 season is March 19th!
📍Lansdowne Dr &, Horticultural Dr, Philadelphia, PA 19131
🎨Philadelphia Museum of Art - The Philly Art Museum is a must-see when coming to Philly. On the first Sunday of every month 10-5, they offer pay-what-you-wish admission. Otherwise, adult tickets are $30, students are $14, and children are free. The museum is huge so it might take two or three visits to digest and appreciate all of the art exhibits. There are so many opportunities to educate yourself about different artists and periods of art. They also have a great view when exiting the building, so make sure to take in the view of the city and the river!
📍2600 Benjamin Franklin Pkwy, Philadelphia, PA 19130
🍦Reading Terminal Market - This market is a diverse place in Center City ideal for group trips. This market has so many vendors to choose from if you're feeling hungry or just want to shop. My favorite place to go to is the housemade ice cream shop called Bassetts Ice Cream. They also have a produce place, a Haitian restaurant, vegan deli, Amish bakery, Chinese food, and much more. This place is free to enter and almost always crowded so keep in mind that you may not get a seat.
📍1136 Arch St, Philadelphia, PA 19107
