While visiting Naples, I visited the popular area of 3rd Street. There were dozens of shops, including high-end stores from Lily Pulitzer to Balmain. One thing I noticed right away was the high volume of luxury cars and antique cars. There are also a lot of convertibles.
One other thing I noticed was the unspoken dress code. I dressed casually because it was my plan to visit the beach in the same trip. I think I was by far the most underdressed person there. As a general rule for how to dress here, I’d recommend something you’d wear for brunch. Attire was resort-y with coastal-inspired pieces and small designer handbags. It’s a place to wear white and bright colors. Certainly preppy. Think Lily Pulitzer, Tommy Bahama, or maybe Banana Republic.
I definitely recommend 3rd Street as a lovely place for a stroll. The streets are clean, it feels safe, and the vibe isn’t overbearing.
I went to a nice cafe off 3rd Street. Check out my S’more post about it:
