My boyfriend and I went to the Medieval Times Dinner and Tournament in Lyndhurst NJ. It was our first visit and better than we expected. The audience becomes very involved and engaged. We were seated in the red section and we cheered on our red knight. There were light jousting and duel matches among the other nights. The king and queen performed phenomenally in their roles. The food was mid, a four course meal of the tomato bisque soup (tasty), 1/2 roasted chix, sweet corn and herb-basted potato. Also beverage of choice, skip the eclair ( we ordered basic the feast) and hot coffee.
We used a 15% coupon (15MT) and went on Saturday. It was quite crowded for the mid day showing. They do three shows on each day of the weekend. We took the NJ bus from the Port Authority terminal and it was only a 30 mins ride. The bus dropped us off pretty much across from the place, about a 5 min walk. We would definitely go back again and maybe even do an upgrade to get closer to the action.
