I always love a trip to a museum!! The Philadelphia Museum of Art is definitely a great stop if you’re in the area in my opinion! They’ve got lots of exhibits to walk through, and they also offer tours (which are FREE with admission) I absolutely love a docent tour, and think if you haven’t taken one and are one of those people who thinks they don’t like museums, you should absolutely check one out. The docents know the material inside and out and breathe life into the paintings, sculptures, and art overall within a museum. They’ve got wonderful stories if you take the time to listen and go in with an open mind! The down side is that the Philadelphia Museum of Art is only open from 10a-5p, so on a weekday they’re near impossible to get to if you’re working during those hours. I wish they’d keep later hours so I could stop in on a weeknight, but for now I’ll have to carve out time on a weekend if I’d like to go.
