I was fortunate to be gifted a chance to try out Bathhouse by @Pro who wanted to share this not only with words, but through experience!
Entering the space, I was checked in with ease, I just had to share my name and appointment time and they gave me a high-tech bracelet to wear. The bracelet is the key to ONE locker and you can link your credit card for purchasing at the cafe that is attached to the bath pools. I didnt do that, but thought it was pretty cool. Walking down the stairs, it felt like I was entering a secret lair. Everything is dark and mysterious.
When you get to the locker space, there are buckets with slippers you can grab to use. The locker room is huge with rolls of lockers and as you walk in, youāll see the towel area, showers, and bathrooms. Lots and lots of mirrors.
After changing, I was a little lost, thinking the sign ābathsā mean the shower area, not clicking for a moment that it is the sign for where the bath pools are lol
I was pretty excited walking into the pool area (when I eventually found it), the whole experience so far felt secretive. But, the moment I walked into the pools, I snapped out of it, because it was so crowded. There were a lot of people and I thought to myself, ādid all these people took hours of work off to be here like I did?ā Yeah, I donāt think so, but for it to be THIS crowded on a Thursday morning, I was surprised.
Nevertheless, I enjoyed the heck out of it, going from the hot pool to the sauna to the steam room to the cold pool, in that cycle. I was there for a little less than 2 hours. I think some people would stay the whole day (there were people with books, which I donāt even know how that works cause itās so humid and wet thereā¦). I also enjoyed the shower, very high tech.
Overall, would recommend to experience, VERY EXPENSIVE for what it is, but I did walk out feeling REAL good, so maybe itās worth it as a treat!
