today I took my first ever yoga class at humming puppy yoga in Flatiron, & wow... what a vibe! 🧘♀️💫 the class was called ✨unified hum✨, & it did exactly what it promised. from the moment i walked in, the studio had this peaceful, calming energy that made me feel like i was in the right place.
the instructor, cynthia, was so kind & encouraging, guiding us through each pose with ease & helping us find our breath. we didn’t do that many poses, but we held them for a long time, so i definitely felt my body working!
one of the coolest parts of this studio is their unique approach to sound—during the class, they play soft, calming hums that fill the space & create this gentle, grounding vibration throughout the room. it’s like the energy of the studio hums with you, & honestly, it made every pose feel even more soothing & connected. it was such a beautiful experience that truly uplifted both my body & my spirit..
i didn’t realize how much i needed this, because my body was quite literally so crunchy before stretching in this class. i definitely found my new happy place. 🌿💚
