i finally made it to the trending vanessa’s dumpling house on the uws 🥟 after hearing about the crazy lines forever… but my friend & i went on a random thursday for lunch & there was basically no one there!! we ordered the peking duck pancake sandwich 🦆 & the egg pancake sandwich 🍳 — GET the duck. sooo good. packed with juicy meat with crispy outside + crunchy veggies 🥬🥕, super flavorful, & only like $10?? literally so filling 🤯. the egg pancake was also delish, cooked perfectly, but a little light if you’re really hungry 😅 also tried the chicken pan-fried dumplings 🐔🥟 & ngl… kinda a letdown. the skin was super thick & they didn’t have much flavor. skip those if you go 🚫 everything was under $15 💸 so it’s perf for a quick lunch or easy takeout 🏃‍♀️🥡.
