Itâs been a while since Iâve tried a new experience but I had to let you guys know about it!! QC NY was so relaxing and fun, but definitely a whole day thing. Message me with any questions about the spa experience itself (donât have enough space)
My friend and I did the birthday promotion* (since sheâs an April baby), and itâs definitely worth the money!
You have to take a ferry to Governorâs island, but they cover the fare to and from the Island. Once you book, theyâll send you a link on how to get that free tix. All you have to do is make sure you choose the right place to take the ferry.
You can also book massages (an extra cost) and get a free complimentary dinner with the purchase of a drink; the drinksâs arenât expensive at all, and you can choose non-alcoholic drinks too! If you want you can find the drinks and food menu online if you dig enough. Something of note thoâyou have to wear the robe they give you if you want to eat at their dinner/cafe.
If youâre not comfortable with changing in the locker room, there are bathroom stalls where you can change. Unfortunately, though, the post-spa shower is not private at all (itâs just a curtain that doesnât properly cover anything), so be prepared for that!
I recommend bringing the following
- swim suit
- change of clothes (easy to put on stuff)
- your own flip flops
- a bag or two to put wet clothes in
- hair products (if you need)
- hair brush + tie (they provide a hair dryer)
- skin products (ie face wash/scrubs, lotion, sunscreen etc)
- makeup (not necessary but if you wanna take cute pictures!)
-portable chargers
* this promotion is for two people only. If you or the person youâre going with birthday in the month you plan on going, and youâre going on the weekday, the birthday person will be free while the non-birthday person will have to pay ~$180. My friend and I just split the cost so that I didnât have to take the brunt of the cost.
