We came to Gitano restaurant’s newest location, right by Pier 17. It is absolutely gorgeous inside. You can’t help but admire it all the moment you first step in. The restaurant space is quite large. We came here to celebrate our friend’s birthday. This would be a really nice spot to come for a date, especially around sunset so that you can enjoy the view of the water. The bathroom here was super clean and nice too ⭐️ Tbh I was NOT impressed by the food here though…. it tasted kinda bland and was pricey 😒 Our server was nice, but when they came to bring out my friend’s birthday cake, they started singing “Happy Birthday” and then suddenly stopped, and walked away after dropping it off on the table 😂 I have mixed feelings about this restaurant, but the area here is really great if you want walk around afterwards and explore *If you make a reservation here, the whole party must show up in order to be seated at a table 💚Location: 89 South St, New York, NY 10038
