You HAVE to check out this Japanese restaurant! Located a couple blocks below Rittenhouse Square Park in Center City, Philadelphia, Uni is a hidden gem with so many good deals! The service is phenomenal and they have great food. 🍣If you're a sushi lover like me, I recommend the $20 all-you-can-eat deal, which occurs every Tuesday-Sunday 2-3:30pm. The rolls included are made fresh, so it can take a while for the chefs to prepare them. I went for Salmon Avocado and Mango Avocado rolls, but they also have other basic rolls. Keep in mind that the rolls come with 8 pieces each, and they'll charge for leftovers/waste. There are other deals, like the lunch specials including hibachi lunches for $11. Those occur 11am-2pm, so you can't overlap these with the AYCE deal. There's also other options on the menu like fried rice, noodles, curry, and teriyaki dishes. 🍱I came here celebrating my birthday, and making a reservation for 8-10 people was a little stressful, but once my party got there, the staff was so nice and friendly. I was even surprised with a mochi ice cream treat for dessert! One thing that surprised me was that they are open until 2am, which is crazy but cool to know if you're ever craving late-night sushi.
