Pros:
🖤Seamless logistics and thoughtful touches
Everything from check-in to the final descent felt effortlessly smooth. The team clearly knows how to run a well-oiled operation, and small details like beet juice shots on arrival made us feel welcomed and cared for right away.
🖤Comfortable lodging at base camp: Base camp was far cozier than expected. We had plenty of warm blankets, and even though temperatures dropped at night, we stayed surprisingly comfortable. Extras like marshmallows and hot chocolate made the evening feel special. It was about $129 a person for the lodge.
🖤Simple but satisfying vegan meals:The food was nourishing, flavorful, and well-portioned. Though the meals were on the simpler side, they were warm, filling, and just what we needed after a long day of hiking.
🖤Smooth and easy gear rental: Renting gear was quick, efficient, and the staff ensured we were well-equipped. Everything worked properly, and the process felt streamlined and stress-free, which made prep a breeze.
🖤Celebratory finish with cold drinks:Ending the hike with ice-cold beers and sodas was the perfect final touch. After a challenging trek, it felt amazing to be greeted with something refreshing and celebratory.
Cons:
❤️Limited meal variety: While the vegan food was good, it leaned toward basic. Those looking for more diverse flavors or needing specific dietary adjustments might want to bring a few personal snacks or additions.
