📍Lindsay Wildlife Experience located in Walnut Creek, California The Lindsay Wildlife Experience is a family-friendly museum and wildlife rehabilitation center. Established in 1955, it was the first wildlife hospital in the United States and remains among the largest, treating over 5,000 injured or orphaned California native animals annually. We got to see a red-tailed hawk up close, owls, snakes, and a bald eagle! All animals are extremely well cared for and it was really interesting learning about the rehabilitation process for sick and injured animals. $17 for adults, $3 for EBT users!
