The zoo (located in balboa park) is SO worth it! Get a membership if you can! SD Zoo is extremely focused on conservation of both plants and animals, and they take such intentional care of all the living things on their grounds. I’ve gone 3 times in the past 3 months and plan to keep it up. I love exploring the aviaries, looking for new baby animals (the baboon just had a baby!) and watching the different plants bloom and change
