No, I’m not new to Small Cheval BUT… I was trying to think of the equivalent of a 1960’s diner in modern day a place with comfy seating, good music, and a sweet treat. I fell short of ideas and just when I gave up hope I went with my friend Small Cheval (the owner owns Bevettes, Ciccio Mio, Guilt Bar, Au Cheval, and many more). And we did everything you would at a diner. But what’s cool about the West Loop location is that they have soft serve ice cream. Not to mention their cones are gluten free! Safe to say some cones and fries will do a girl good. And after? Drive home listening to Short N’ Sweet (Deluxe)?
