Attended the Journey Arts Eight Eight Time performance (April 3rd-5th) at the Mandell Theater this evening. It was a very intimate and interactive performance. If you're a musician or into piano music, I would highly recommend this experience. I cried 3 times from the beauty of some of the songs and messaging. It felt very cozy as the whole theatre was not used but only the main stage area. At the end of the performance I had the chance to talk with the performers and other guests, which you ofc usually don't get to do at bigger venues. The theater is located on Chestnut and 33rd, accessible via trolley, bus, or 34th street station. The performance cost about $12, I'm not sure if Drexel students get a discount but either way it's totally worth it. They have a couple performances coming up in May, so if you have nothing to do on a weeknight and don't really want to sit at home, I highly recommend.
