Let’s rate 3 different dumpling spots in Chinatown! 🥟 💥
1st Stop… North Dumpling! We had the chive and pork dumplings and couldn’t resist the offer of the spring rolls which were so good. The fried dumplings were full of flavor and the soy sauce we couldn’t get enough of. 9.5/10
2nd Stop… Fried Dumpling! A place to stop and grab some quick dumplings. No seating area, you literally have to stand eating them but at $5 for 10 made so quickly, who couldn’t pass this one up! Dumplings were good and very flavorful. However, for me they were a little too soggy! Which is kind of strange considering it’s named fried dumpling. But taste? REALLY GOOD! 8/10
3rd Stop… Tasty Dumpling! A great variety of dumplings. We got fried and steamed chive and pork dumplings. They had others like cabbage ones which seemed good and popular too. We also had the scallion pancake which was also excellent and huge! Dumplings were good but were on the more doughy side and lacked the flavors from the other two spots. 7.5/10
Overall North Dumplings had us craving for MORE! So fresh and the sear crunch of flavor and with the sauce most definitely hit the spot 💯
We also couldn’t believe how full and satisfied my husband, daughter and I were and spent less than $20!!!
So many places to grub in Chinatown, we already planned a ramen tour next!
