This is the perfect winter activity to get out of the cold and support a local institution! My friend Sim and I had a great time at the Fouad of Nazareth show at Joe’s Pub, which is part of the Public Theater on Lafayette Street, which has the best sultry and electric vibes for date night or a fun time with a friend feeling *cultured*! They do assign seats across the pub and even when the show is full, it feels intimate and special. We ordered the oreo flan which was delicious (they do request that everyone orders at least something - a drink or food item, from the menu, but the pricing was reasonably for the area. Pro Tip: if you want to meet the cast and crew, stay a bit later after the initial crowd leaves, there’s halls to the right outside of the main theater doors that lead to the restrooms and there’s a hall that the cast/crew will exit through! My patient friend was able to say hi and take pictures with the main lead in the show this way! What is Joe’s Pub? It provides a “wide & eclectic range of musical performances offered over dinner & drinks in an intimate space”.
