If you’re strolling through New York City and happen to pass by the Sabyasachi, step in!! Even if you’re not familiar with Sabyasachi Mukherjee, the Indian designer known for his opulent bridal wear and craftsmanship, this flagship store is a must see! There are pieces that feel like they have been pulled straight out of a royal palace. Located in the Meatpacking District, the space is massive, grand, and absolutely stunning— chandeliers, gorgeous artwork, and furniture that feels curated for a museum exhibit rather than a retail space.. Even if you’re not shopping (like me—these prices are definitely aspirational), just browsing is an experience in itself!! You get to see the mix of traditional Indian craftsmanship with a contemporary twist, and it’s hard not to admire the artistry of it all. The store is easy to miss if you’re not looking for it, but it’s absolutely worth making the trip. Whether you’re into fashion, art, or just want to see something extraordinary, this place is a gem!! And if you don’t know Sabyasachi’s work, I’d recommend to look it up. His designs are iconic :’)
