Volunteer meals with a purpose 🍲💖: GLWD
    - Unique Experience or Money Grab?: Neither - Worth the Hype?: Deserve more hype, volunteering is so underrated - Cost: Free - Time Spent: shifts are usually 3hrs each Full Disclosure: GLWD is a completely secular organization, despite its name, making it truly inclusive and welcoming to everyone, regardless of beliefs. 💫 Since last November, I’ve been volunteering every other weekend with God’s Love We Deliver 💕🍲, and while I hesitated to share (it’s not exactly glamorous), it’s truly been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. It’s not flashy, but knowing I’m helping provide individually-tailored, nutritious meals to people too sick to shop or cook for themselves 💪🥗 brings me so much joy. The process is incredibly easy—you create an online profile and pick shifts that work for your schedule 📅. With my full-time job, weekends are all I can commit to, but they offer time slots for everyone! 🌟 Every shift is hands-on and deeply fulfilling. Whether I’m chopping veggies 🥕, scooping soup 🥣, quality-checking meals ✅, or baking treats like cookies and brownies 🍪🧁, every task feels meaningful. Volunteers are even treated to refreshments like tea ☕, hot chocolate 🍫, or free baked goods—a thoughtful touch that makes the experience even sweeter! The staff? Absolute gems 💎—kind, supportive, and a refreshing change from my corporate grind. While hygiene protocols mean no photos of the kitchen 🚫📸, the energy there is inspiring. God’s Love makes giving back easy and impactful, ensuring every meal carries a human touch. If you’re looking for a way to make a difference (especially with a busy schedule), I can’t recommend them enough! 💖
