This week I had a get-together with friends at Momoya in Soho, an upscale Japanese restaurant. Personally I think the menu is quite outside my normal dining out budget. We ordered a few sushi rolls, crispy rice, a wagyu appetizer, and two of their dessert items for $60 per person including tips (4 people total). The dishes are tasty but the quality does not commensurate with the price for me. Their seasonal dessert items are intricate and worth trying though.
