$35pp Michelin Star Lunch in Miami
Cote is a Korean steakhouse restaurant in Miami’s design district with a Michelin star. I was able to eat there for $35 through Miami Spice 2024, which is August through September. Cote specifically offers this Miami Spice prix fixe menu special on Monday through Wednesday for lunch during Miami Spice.
🥗 APPETIZER
My partner ordered the tuna tartare, and I chose the black truffle shrimp salad. Mine was the winner. The poached Argentinian shrimp was the most special I’ve ever had. It tasted equally as much like butter as it did shrimp. The black truffle vinaigrette was delicious.
🥩 ENTREE
Of the four entree options, I chose the limited edition fried chicken. It included organic white and dark meat, pickled daikon, and a sweet and spicy sauce.
My partner got the butcher’s lunch, which was an additional $25. Our server prepared the grill and cooked the meats for us. My mind can’t comprehend how they were able to make the meats so tender and juicy. It was wonderful.
🍦 DESSERT
There was only one dessert option, which was a vanilla soft serve with a soy caramel syrup. Mine came with a candle because I was celebrating my birthday.
You will need a reservation. I’ll say I was uncertain about the legitimacy of mine, which I made on Resy without putting down a credit card or anything. But I’m glad the reservation was real, and I would love to come here again.
Be sure to save this for your next trip to Miami.
