I took my friend to Pearl & The Beast for a birthday outing. It was such an unique experience where you get to pick out the (dead) mussel, extract the pearl, and then select the type of jewelry you wanted. The mussels vary in type, so you can get different kinds of pearls. Jewelry options range from charms ($20) to earrings, necklces, bracelets, and rings ($50 - $100).
