Craving a rock scramble of a hike this summer?
Look no further than Cold Spring nyc, accessible by the metro north train. You can take it from grand central, and itās only about an hour north by train. You get off the train in the cutesttttt little town, which I would recommend exploring before or after your hiking experience.
For hiking, there are a bunch of interconnected trails that have stunning views and range in difficulty. But if youāre looking for a challenging hike thatās essentially a rock scramble, try Breakneck Ridge. Yes, thatās actually the name of the trail.

I did this and boy I was not ready for full on rock climbing but it was so fun!! Tip: make sure you go early enough before sunset to not get stuck in the dark

@Danielle HazĆ©l Itās pretty intense, so depending on age, I would say probably 12+

Itās a very hard hike. I did it twice and idk why the second time it was scarier than the first time but all that to say I couldnāt complete the full hike the second time. I chickened out and went back down after the view of the river opens up. Be warned.
