someone check on paula vogel because once again she has written such a creepy, dark, and yet somehow funny play. she remains my favorite playwright, and has an incredible cast to tell this story. jim parsons, jessica lange, and celia keenan-bolger??? and tina landau’s direction!! the play season is stacked this year. definitely put mother play on your radar.
