I actually walk past this food cart many times before, but it wasn’t until my friend from California came visit did we went and tried it! My friend saw a video introducing this food cart and it was on her list to go when she comes to NYC. We loved the experience and it was so cheap! There was a good amount of different flavors to choose from, I got the shrimp and beef, my friend got the pork and chicken. They were all delicious! The rice noodle roll (cheong fun) was soft and chewy, and the flavor was just enough for me. It is cash only! When my friend and I found the cart by 159 Hester St, there was a line. I liked that the food cart seems movable, but feels like it is a part of the community. I heard customers chatting with the cart owner in Cantonese and it felt very community based. I would recommend a visit, eating from a food cart on the side of the street is also always a fun nyc experience!
