the world’s largest collection of original vintage posters (as seen in their ig bio). not sure if i believe it but philip williams posters for sure features a variety of prints highlighting fashion, travel, film, and all kinds of art. i grabbed three vintage prints of vogue magazine covers, literally $12 each! compared to other nyc prints i find in vintage markets, this is such a steal. i’m sure they weren’t the og copies, but they still look so lovely in my little space. even if you’re not looking to buy, it’s a fun place to browse and get lost in the visuals. pieces hang on the walls and are sprawled out in every corner (and don’t be afraid to touch them)! the owner of the shop was super personable and kind, sharing that he’s been collecting for over 30+ years and loves to travel looking for more. he even gave us some freebies after our convo. his best pieces are definitely not in my budget range, but you can snap a few good photos for your mems and they don’t mind! not an overcrowded space either… go go go!
