I went to Afternoon Tea at Lady Mendl’s for a friend’s birthday and it was so fun! It is a prefix menu for $78 per person but starting May 1st it will be $89 per person, which is a steep price to pay for an afternoon tea. You do pay for the experience and the ambiance, as it’s a picture perfect spot. The food was tasty and we were full at the end of the courses but I wouldn’t go out of my way to spend that much on this experience again. I did however enjoy the tea options and our lovely waitress recommend a tea pairing for each course which was a fun experience. But I do have to say there are other places that offer afternoon tea at a more reasonable price. So unless you want to go for the experience and cute pictures, I’d say save your money and go somewhere else.
